Our Vision is to transform this 8-acre farm into a flourishing oasis with food forests, eco-retreats, and animal therapy programs. By teaching regenerative farming and sustainable practices, we aim to inspire individuals and families to create harmony between people and the earth.
At The Wild Fern Project, we believe that caring for the land and caring for people go hand in hand.
Through regenerative farming, wellness experiences, educational programs, and community-centered gatherings, we aim to create a space where connection, nourishment, and intentional living can flourish.

Project: Equine Sanctuary
The Wild Fern Project’s equine care program offers a peaceful, grounded environment for horses and their owners alike. With pasture grazing, paddock space, dry shelter, daily care, and access to the surrounding natural landscape, the program is designed to support both animal wellbeing and thoughtful stewardship of the land.
As the project continues to grow, equine care will play an important role in helping sustain the farm’s broader wellness, educational, and community initiatives while creating meaningful connection through responsible animal care and nature-centered living.
Project: Food Forest
The food forest at the Wild Fern Project is more than just a garden—it’s a living classroom and a source of nourishment. Designed with layers of fruit trees, shrubs, herbs, and vegetables, the forest will showcase sustainable farming techniques while providing an abundant yield for the farm stand and local community. Workshops will teach visitors how to replicate this sustainable, self-sufficient model in their own spaces, empowering families to grow their own food and support the planet.

Project: Eco Retreat
Imagine a serene eco-retreat surrounded by gardens and nature, where visitors can participate in workshops, yoga sessions, and mindfulness practices. The Wild Fern Project’s vision includes an education center designed to host events that inspire and heal. From permaculture retreats to wellness weekends, this center will serve as a space where people of all ages can connect with the land, learn sustainable practices, and rejuvenate their minds and bodies.
Project: Care Farming
Animals play a vital role in healing and connection, and the Wild Fern Project plans to expand its care farming programs. From goat yoga to feeding tours and animal-assisted earthing sessions, these programs will help build confidence, learn empathy, and find joy in working with animals. These programs will also focus on educating participants about the importance of regenerative farming and the balance between caring for the land and its creatures.

Project: Farm Stand
The Wild Fern Project’s farm stand will be a cornerstone of our community outreach, offering fresh, organic produce and natural foods grown right here on the farm. By providing affordable, healthy options, we hope to make nutritious eating accessible to all while using the proceeds to support the farm’s programs and initiatives. This simple yet impactful project connects the community with the land and promotes sustainability in everyday living.
